I downloaded that one yesterday, and it's not at all what I expected. Much more straightforward.
That's what I like about the album. It doesn't pull any punches.

Have you heard Koushik yet? I was reading this thing about him the other day and I got a download of one of his songs off the Stones Throw jukebox, was very impressed. Very mellow and beautiful but kinda funky, too. Reminds me a little of Shuggie Otis.

anyone know how to make Audioscrobbler/Last Fm work on iTunes?, it doesn't do anything after I install it
I use it with iTunes. I just installed the plugin and registered an account. Once I installed the plugin, the next time I opened iTunes it asked for my username and password, and I typed it in. That was that.

These albums are simply amazing. They've become a sort of daily ritual for me, and so far (Its been 2 months) they havent even come close to becoming old.
I'd appreciate it if it's any good. I only have Arular.
It's a party on a record. You'll recognize some of the vocals from the LP, but overall the tracks are completely different. She and Diplo made this record and gave it out FOR FREE while the labels were stalling Arular in the States. They FLIPPED, and lo and behold, we have Arular. Uploading now...

Ok... so I am traveling through London, and I see this really beatiful chick on TV just rocking her *** off (really good looking too) on the piano.... went online her website RIPS>.. its awesome.
Turns out Slash played on her record and a whole bunch of other people too... and then I saw ****ing Noel from Oasis just ****ing all over her at some award show and she was kinda above it... she is really cool and her music rocks. RECOMENDATION!

The most recent one isn't too bad however my favorite is their 1993 release Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby on Touch and Go. It might still be in print but if it's not, you can probably find it in a used record store.

I just recently got Warehouse: Songs and Stories, so I haven't been able to form a good opinion on it yet.
I like it, even though it's pretty much inferior to most of their best. It's got a couple addicting songs, though.
Listened to Lee Dorsey, Bobby Bland, Sebadoh and Olivia Tremor Control today. First time I've heard Lee Dorsey, he kinda rules.

I'm digging the Indigo Girls now alot. I think I'm gonna get one of their albums soon.
I'm also digging Skunk Anansie...they are good pop rock. Skins voice is pretty impressive...sorta like a borderline rock/soul voice with incredible range.
The Presidents Of The USA are a mite cool band that more people should get into really...they are very fun to listen to in my humble opiniette.
