Haste the Day is a band that was underground, and played at local shows in Carmel, Indiana. They then made an E.P. which consists of 7 songs, these songs are brilliant and well played. From this E.P., they toured the country...
After touring they were signed by Solid State records to produce a 12 song c.d. called Burning Bridges
Key songs
Song 1 - Blue 42 - This song is a great opener, beginning with a guitar riff that gets you pumped up, the screaming is a little scratchy but it soon picks up. You then proceed to a somewhat lighter part of the song, here the drummer shows off some talent by doing amazing rolls on the drums. A little farther into the song, it gets faster, then singing comes in. You will have to listen to the end because it is great song
Song 2 - Closest thing to Closure - This song is more emo-y, that there others. This song is fairly good, and the singer in here has a decent voice. At the end of the song, the guitarist does a little solo, then they pull out the ending with a slow "head bobbing" riff.
song 3 -American Love- This is there best song on the c.d. in my opinion. In this song you never know what there going to be doing next. After 2 minutes and 20 seconds of pure kick ***. They then slow it down, and sing which is pretty good, if you don't like it you will eventually get use to it. After the soft part is over, they again pull out into kick *** guitar riffs, amazing song..
song 11 - (cant remeber name of it) - This song is there softest song, begining with a little guitar solo, then there other guitarist whips out his awesome vocal skills and sings his heart out. It isnt really long, but a key song to let people know they have talent singing and screaming.
I give them a 5 out of 5
