Do you have any "real" MX moments that "actually happened" and "aren't lies" that you would like to share with the rest of this fantastic internet community? If so, then this is the thread for you, mister!

Here are a few that I have blatantly stolen:

Now it is your turn, friends!

(PS: I am remaking this thread, so the quotes don't work any longer because I'm too lazy to bother with the tags. If you do not understand the premise - the idea is simply to create or make up a funny "memory" about MX. I found that stealing ideas from old TV shows and replacing the characters with made up or real MXers worked quite well. Thanks LR!)

Remember when ITalkLikeU came on and posted a thread that only said "Durrrrrrrr durrrr dur durrrr durrrrr, dur dur durrrrrr?" and everyone kept quoting him? Nobody knew what it meant, until somebody finally explained that he had been in Antarctica for like 2 years, and was still dethawing and what he meant was "Hey guys I've been out for a while, what did I miss?" Needless to say, we all felt a little sheepish from that fiasco!

I remember when there was this old, sick, twisted, pedophile posting on MX. His name was Jarviss. He was one crazy SOB. Always tried to be hip and cool, be one of us. Everybody liked him. Sadly, he had to leave to fucus on his real life with his wife, and the taxes, and the pedophiling, and the what not. He was a good guy. *sigh*

So we all got in - I recall that Litnin was sitting on my lap and Eccles was sitting a little too snugly behind me - and zapped ourselves back to the early part of the century and killed baby Hitler. Little did we know what consequences that would have, eh!?

Remember that time those two gimps(we won't mention names) got together and started a percussion band? Yeah, one was a guitar player, the other was a stand-up percussionist. They posted their song in the audio arena, and might I just add, the guitarist was playing better blues-styled percussion than the stand-up percussionist. Then they said there "thank you's" at the end and I laughed so hard at one guy's Australian accent.

That time when BagBoy thought he had invented a cure for the common cold, and he told everyone the recipe and this new guy, I think he was called master-P, who, co-incidentaly, was suffering from the cold at this time, attempted to make a bathtub full of the stuff but he added too much PCP to the mixture and he posted gibberish for 34 hours straight?

HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE' and then I said '...but this is MY dream' and then he said 'actually, your dreams are now property of MX, you should have read the agreement more carefully, thank God for small print eh?' and then I said 'quit changing the subject and answer my question you scrotal folicle' and then he said ''....... and then I woke up.

Does anyone remember the barmitzfah(sp.?) we all got invited too. Where we all played our instruments to the organist and the people sang like The Distillers. And then at the after party where all the fat girls asked everyone to dance. Then we all got in to the time machine again and banged our 3rd grade teachers. But then some people didn't make it to third grade so we had to return home before they got to sad. Then at the hotel after the barm. (no idea how it's spelled) we played 1 on like 2000 with the Micheal Jordan and we still got schooled. Good times...
