Whoa, lets break up the LSD party.

I'm starting to give up hope for my local classic rock radio station. Today I heard: Rainbow In the Dark, Run Like Hell(overplayed where I live), Blinded By The Light, and some Linkin Park song. Wow.

My classic rock station doesn't venture into new rock at all.

Woodstock

MalcolmYoungRock

Linkin Park???

I think's they be trippin.

Then again, I think I heard Green Day on mine...

Run Like Hell is COMPLETELY OVERPLAYED.

They have a thing called "Two for Tuesday" and everytime I hear Pink Floyd it's "Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2" and "Run Like Hell" for the two.

Oh, has anyone heard "The Wall 2000"

It's the Wall covered by this CRAPPY CRAPPY *** emo band covering the Wall.

Biggest dissapointment was NO GUITAR SOLO IN COMFORTABLY NUMB.

It was a flute solo.

my local Classic Rock station is awesome. They play great songs, I like them because they play a lot of lesser known songs and bands, not just the most well known and mainstream of classic rock. Every day during lunch they have the Psychadelic Snack (they only play pscyhadelic songs for an hour) Plus every night at midnight they play a full album with no commercials or breaks.

edit- and what would -30 F equal in Celcius? the coldest it's been around here lately was last week, where it was about -50 C for a few days. It's usually not in the fifties though, usually thirties or forties.

It's the same when people say they listen to metal. You can break it down to all the different sub-categories like Black Metal, Death Metal, etc. (don't know many metal genres) Same with classic rock, you can say you like folk-rock, blues-rock, jam bands, etc. There are probably more metal categories than classic rock categories.

Yes they are. One thing that gets to me is people say they don't like them, but they respect Peart for his skill. It's like they think he's the only talented member, do they not realize how awesome Geddy and Alex are?

Neil Peart in my view is really overrated..I personally like Geddy Lee's bass and Alex Lifeson's vocals..good power trio.

As for the person who listed the best albums of '65-'77, how can you say Led Zeppelin II wasn't better than III, that's a sin.

Illmatic

Rush is talented, but I really don't them.

On the other hand, they are a goldmine of unintentional comedy.

And II strikes me as "meh", but III is a gem.

Rush was very talented, but I don't like them that much. Jack Bruce>Geddy Lee in the "bassists/singers in a power trio" category.

Badmoon

Well, obviously almost doesn't cut it

Well, actuallu I don't really have any thoughts on Rush's music. I don't like it, but I don't hate it. As for the skill, I'd say they're all pretty good. I do believe that Geddy is a bit overrated, and Alex is a fool, but whatever.

Wow that rhcp_r_gods fag just de-repped me. Maybe I wouldn't have said anything if he managed to not be a rambly, incoherent idiot. What a dipshit.

EDIT: LMAO. He carries so little relevence that he didn't even take any of my rep points away. The joke's on you, pal.
