:p I think Trey solo career is terrible. Each of the other members' are much better. IMO
:) I'm happy where I'm at.
And Phish beats the hell out of Trey's solo stuff.

Well, it may be wrong to compare them.
They are almost from the same time. But Quicksilver plays more Psychedelia, where The New Riders play roots rock.
They a both from San Fransico, and the 60's.

i can't stand kiss. their claimed that their music meant more to them than their image did, but i still don't beleive that. they were like AC/DC with even less good songs. they wrote a few catchy party anthems, but nothing worth winning an award for. plus they are the hugest sellouts known to the universe, and you all know thats true.
but i liked how you mentioned April Wine in your previous post. They are an amazing band and im glad to hear more people like them.

Dangit I forgot cream an Eric Clapton on my list. Oh well, if people call it classic rock I like it :thumb:.
that is ridiculous, and utterly closed minded of you to just say i like its cause in this genre,
Neil Young and Rush are about the only only classic rock i listen to, i get bored with most like the beatles and led zeppelin, because the songs are bland and lack energy, especially the beatles, Yes though, is the worst of them all, with many songs pushing the 10 minute mark but only about 2 or 3 minutes of actual song. I also greatly dislike the 'classic' rock culture if i may call it that, 90% of the people who listen to it will always just assume its better because they think its more talented or more influential, personally i dont care whether or not a band is talented, solos to me are not the climactic part of the song, sure the odd one is enjoyable but 2-3 minutes of some hippy playing guitar real fast just doesnt impress me...
and yes i know, since i like punk my opinions are invalid here in the world of real musicians but it is a discussion thread, this was my discussion

He's the guy who said:

Hmmm, I need to get into some CCR, but there's other bands on my priority list. Too sad indeed...I wish I had the money to get every single CD I want.
I always with that I was really rich so I could go to an album store and buy everything I wanted.

CCR is really good but I'd rather see a load of other bands.

CCR isn't the type of music you have to "get into". they did't produce bad songs so you can basically just download anything of theirs. no searching around needed.

You know, that's actually very true. They barely didn't make any bad songs at all.
