OMG a 530 page thread started by someone with less than a 1000 posts.
IMO as a 15 yr old in a standard high school classic rock is becoming popular amongst the youth but what can I say it's still an MTV Generation. People pretend to be old school by listening to Led Zeppelin and Pink FLoyd (Even when they don't like it) and later they go home boot up their playlist and start listening to Good Charlotte...well what can I say? It's a poser world after all.

ok ok, i admit it, i'm a classic rock nut. i love led zeppelin, the beatles, the who, eric clapton, the doors, and so on. most of the bands i listen to broke up years before i was born. at 17, nearly every song on my playlist is older than me. but is it just my imagination, or is classic rock experiencing sort of a revival. i am running into an increasing number of classic rock fans my age. at my school (an all boys high school), the school newspaper took a poll of everyone's favorite genre and band. led zeppeling got 5th and the beatles got 6th, behind that rap crap. classic rock made up a large percent of ppls favorite genre. is this just by me, or are other ppl noticing this too?
o and for u classic rock fans, the crime of the new century was that the Yardbirds new CD, Birdland, recieved no attention at all. that deserved a grammy, or 6.
so are there any other classic rock fans out there, and even if ur not, have u been noticing somewhat of a revival in interest for that sort of music?
Your not the only one. This may seem weird but I'm not ever 15 yet (almost) and I LOVE Classic Rock. My favorite bands are AC/DC and The Who. I have 12 records hanging up on my wall, and over 40 awesome cds that ALL have to do w/ CR. Heres my band list:

Woodstock
11-12-2004, 04:37 PM
I'll be getting that on the day of release, and reviewing it soon after...I'm guessing you mean Vertigo? That's the only song I've heard from it, and I love it. Every review I've seen so far has said it's probably their best work since Achtung Baby, so I can't wait!
The song my radio station played was called "Magic Drug". And there is a lot of expectations for this record.
