Anybody here like MushroomHead? They have some nice keyboard parts in their music.

Mushroomhead is horrible, imo. The keyboard parts are also lame.

I like Evanescence's parts more than Mushroomhead

Normally I wouldnt coincide with someone who advocates a childish statement such as "Flame is Lame", but hes right. Mushroomhead's keyboard parts are nothing to admire.

:( I guess in the Piano/Keyboards forum everything has to be technical and complex to be admired, just like the in the guitar forum.

No. But it would help if it added something interesting to the songs. I mean, the songs are really bad in my opinion. I don't like that heavy kind of stuff. *looks at your avatar* Same with Chimiara. I hate them, too. :-/

Yeah... there's a point where the flapping of the strings drowns out the actual notes being played... That point is a distant memory for mushroom... But they like it, and their records are selling, i guess... so whatever.

I personally find Mushroomhead's stuff to be completely uninspiring and totally dull to my ears.

*drops 2$ into box*

Maybe I'll take a couple of songs and do my own thing with them... :naughty:

Good keyboards in Mushroomhead is the outro to Bwomp
