These guys are:

Chris - Guitar and Vocals
Todd - Bass
Jord - Drums

I think...

This album is VERY political. Read the lyrics to see what I mean. These guys are a 3 (Sometimes 4 live) piece band from Winnipeg.

Track 1: Mate Ka Moris Ukun Rasik An

This song starts with what sounds like Hitler(?) I dont know. The singing and drums and guitar kicks in at about 30 seconds, it starts really light but then it explodes at 1:02 with Chris' unbeliablly fast strumming and singing at the same time.

This is a pretty good song.

4/5

Track 2: **** The Border

This song starts with a really cool bassline. I dont know if this song is about the American-Canadian border or what. This song is heavy, with heavy vocals and heavy guitar. This is a good song.

5/5

Track 3: Todays Empires, Tomorrows Empires

This song is great, just great. Great lyrics and guitar that folw with each other perfectly. Second best on the album probably.

5/5

Track 4: Back To The Motor League

Words can hardly describe this songs incredibility. Its has AWESOME guitar and a bloody great guitar solo - Best song on the album.

5/5

Track 5: Natural Disasters

This is a good song. I like it, sometimes its kinda imitating with the high notes during the verse but its a good song.

4/5

Track 6: Whit Friends Like These Who The **** Needs Contelpro?

Heavy good fast song. Good lyrics and great drum work.

5/5

Track 7: Aldright Monument Baghdad

This song is has a light intro but then it gets heavy and we are introduced Chris' singing and playing again. Good

5/5

Track 8: Ordinary People Do ****ed Up Things When ****ed Up Things Become Ordinary

Heavier than hell itself. this is the hardcore side of Propagandhi - I ****ing love this, it is really heavy.

5/5

My review:

- Mate Ka Moris Ukun Rasik An
This song is about the campaign for East Timor independence from Indonesia, in particular Bella Gahlos. This is a great song and really thought provoking. Particularly about how much people suffer compare to you.
4/5

- **** the Border
Great short, angry song on immigration with a great bass line.
5/5

- Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes
One of the best songs on the album. All the lyrics are great.
5/5

- Back to the Motor League
Great song with a brilliant intro. 'I like to party f'ucking hard'
5/5

- Natural Disasters
A weaker song all about religion and hypocrisy.
3/5

- With Friends Like These, Who the **** Needs COINTELPRO?
Nice fast song on the US Counter-Intelligence Program. The quote in the middl of the song isthe best bit.
4/5

- Albright Monument, Baghdad
Nice song about Iraq. The best bit is the line about 'moving parts in a death machine'
5/5

- Ordinary People Do ****ed-Up Things When ****ed-Up Things Become Ordinary
Great title. Not such a great song.
2/5

- Ladies' Nite In Loserville
Great feminist angry song.
5/5

- Ego Fum Papa (I Am the Pope)
The weakest song on the album, avoid.
2/5

- New Homes For Idle Hands
Good song on the prison system. The line about 'any kid who might do something wrong' is great.

- Bull**** Politicians
Great chorus and good verses
4/5

- March of the Crabs
One of the best songs on the album. Sing-a-long, shouting, anger. Class
5/5

- Purina Hall of Fame
Starts with a really disturbing sample. Nice song.
4/5

Computer stuff:
Great informative videos on the Black Panthers and US Foreign Policy. Brilliant articles by Ward Churchill and William Blum. Essential.

An essential CD for the videos and articles alone. Add on an amazing thought-provoking and angry album and it's amust for anyone who cares about the world and everyone who doesn't but should. So that's everyone then.

Key Songs:
Back To The Motor League
Todays Empires, Tommorrow's Ashes
March Of The Crabs

Overall score: 5/5
