Mostly greatness. A funny thing happened earlier today with The Blue Album. I stopped at a friend's house to drop off a wire. His driveway's a sheet of ice, so when I pulled in, I slid right off it and into the woods. I then popped in that album, and "Say It Ain't So" is the first track that comes on. What a perfect song for digging your car out of the woods and snow. The engine ejected the CD as my friend and I were trying to get the vehicle unstuck, and upon reintry, "Say It Ain't So" came on again. I swear, Weezer had some wicked magic back then.
Ahem.

Well it was just announced that mine has been delayed a further two weeks. After which it's gonna have to be forwarded from home to here :(
I'm happy to wait for it though, as hopefully I'm gonna get one of the ones with the messed up cover, thus making it special.
What do you think of Endless Nameless and FFL, though? And which FFL did you get?
Eh...they still need to arrive. I have more faith in people from Ebay though :)
Re-issue of FFL. I had most of it downloaded anyway which I adore.
I'll just have to wait and see with Endless.. I know what the general opinion is of it but I still want it.

RQ, you must have like 750 + records right?
I have a dozen albums on vinyl, and I've sold back a considerable amount of records. If I kept everything I bought, I'd easily have nearly a thousand albums. As of now, I have about 250.
As a side note, my record player's timing's off. 33's and 45's both play too slow. Curses.

I've listened about one and a half times, plus about 70 listens of Hellbelly. It's very good, but I'm yet to be convinced the second half lives up to the first. It was only 8 euro too; HMV is having a 'greatest ever Irish albums' sale.

I liked it. I also liked the variety of artists like U2, the offspring, and metallica each doing a song. I My favorite song of the album was rob zombie's version of Blitzkrieg Bop.

Oh yeah, the Metallica one is surprisingly good given their frankly horrible history of Misfits covers. The Offspring cover (I Wanna Be Sedated if I remember correctly) was pretty indistinguishable from the original, I thought. The variety was impressive though; it goes to show how broadly influential they actually were.
