I work at Wal-Mart, so steal albums (usually before they come out, I know, up teh punx lol omg). The last few I got were:
Bright Eyes - Cassadaga
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
Arctic Monkeys - Your Favourite Worst Nightmare
I think those are the only albums I've gotten in years...all of them at least a week before release.
Also, I do the best with the selection before me. Don't criticize so quickly.

So incredibly lame dude.

Yeah man, go see them. I didn't know what to expect, but it was such an enjoyable show. They're really fun, energetic, and unique as well. The whole gig just had a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish, and if you're in the mood and like them even a little, DEFINITELY see them. I think I caught them on a great night, as I've heard some people say they aren't that great live when they're in overly experimental mood...but their new album is pretty conventional compared to Drums Not Dead and they're touring in support of that so you'll get a good mix of the new album, the more experimental stuff from Drums and the dancy post-punk stuff from earlier albums.
ahh I'm rattling on...basically just see them :)
