That album is really sub-par. That song is alright though.

My god Coroner still own every other Thrash band ever. If the production vocal wise was better on their albums, they should have been huge.

Yeah. They opened for Iced Earth here back in November. I enjoyed them quite a bit.

when i first started playing guitar in a band we covered the song Bloodline from GHUA along with many a metallica song so many ****ing times. we thought the intro riff to bloodline was the heaviest thing. that album had some okay songs i guess.

What the ****? I've been reading reviews and people actually don't like Sean Killian's vocals. what blasphemy! his drunk vocals are the best in Thrash.

Best Pantera song by a mile. Great album as well, suprisingly.

Pantera only have a few songs i care to listen to. so who here likes the D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. by Destruction? they just never stop making solid thrash album. fun driving album
south_of_heaven 11

Power Metal was alright and its just when I hear someone say Pantera my mind diverts to Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display of Power (which I won't deny enjoying) and I just go "not thrash".
and I didn't find DEVOLUTION to be all that good, besides the title track/intro track.

The Antichrist was good, Inventor of Evil was good on first listen, but then you realise it only has about 4 good songs on the whole album.

I would say Sean Killian's vocals are unique but completely far from being the best in thrash. There is only so much you can do with a yelp. 'Nothing to Gain' is something we would all like to forget.

Just discovered Heathen, and I got to say I'm enjoying Victims of Deception quite, it's like a combination of beastly drums and vocals of Anthrax with the awesome guitars of Metallica. Might become my favorite thrash album if this keeps up.
Death By Hanging has the quintessential thrash riff.

I agree that it was too much modern bands talking about how much they liked the stuff that came before, but on the other hand, I learned about a lot of bands I didn't know about. I am still relatively naive to thrash as a whole though.
