Yeah that's my only thing I have against DT. It's not really a show. They might as well put cardboard cutouts of every one of them and play their greatest hits through a CD player. And yeah LaBrie always disappears when they're going into the usual crazy solo stuff.
I'd much prefer that because it'd be funny as hell.

Dude Megadeth may not have been great but DT sucked hard. Best acts there were Nevermore and Symphony X.
Agrees. DT was terrible. Petrucci rocked though. Thank god they were the opening act. And i think Mustaine's hilarious.
Mustaine says: How many of you droogies can play the guitar? (everyone screams) How many can play as good as me? (everybody screams again) YOU LIE!!!
then he played Tornado of Souls. Cracks me up everytime i think about it.:p

Oh.
Anyways, I went to the CD store, and overall I'm not very pleased. There were a few bands I wanted to buy CDs of. They didn't have the Mad Butcher CD when I got there, someone had already bought it, but then I saw Destruction's Antichrist and Inventor of Evil and I wasn't sure if they were any good. As well as I saw a Razor's Decibels, but I wasn't sure about it either. I ended up buying Kreator's Endless Pain and Death's Scream Bloody Gore.
So can any of you guys fill me in about the Razor and Destruction CDs?
I'm also looking for Evil Dead's Annihilation of Civilization. But I'm having a hard time finding a site that has it. I'm about to check amazon.

Simply, Shovel Headed Kill Machine and Tempo Of The Damned and Extreme Agrression and Beneath The Remains have one thing in common.
Supremity of thrash. I might put Coroner's No more Colour in the list but its a different beast. Sodom's incredibly underratted Tapping The vein is a worthy mention. But the above albums for me have defined and redefined thrash metal.

It's funny, because I'm playing guitar in it and I'm a bass player. So, there are no leads at all. We're still trying to find a guitarist. There are no vocals either, but we have lyrics written. It still hasn't come yet...my dad said after today it should come since it's been 5 business days.

I didn't care how much I had to pay for that shirt, I was determined to get that sum'byatch.
Razor is supposed to be touring starting mid-February, last I heard. That might've changed though, as they haven't updated their Updates page since Nov. 20th of last year.

Hmm and I'm still deciding if I should go see Exodus support the haunted. Dunno if it's worth $50 to see. It's a good excuse to drink I suppose.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I can link you. I have heard all good abot it so far.
The folks at the Exodus forum seem to think it's great, though you must keep in mind these are the types that think Defiance are a masterwork of a band.
I might download it now.

Do it! Although "new" and "Venom" do not go well together, I'm still curious as to what it sounds like.
Yes, a majority of the people at the Exoboards are clueless gits.

Easter Sunday ey? I'm on there site, I see nothing for tourdates. But I'm going to ticketmaster to check it out.
EDIT:
Aha! There it is. 15 dollars. I'll have to try and convince my dad that seeing them is worth the drive. He likes Bonded by Blood, but he's a stickler for gas.

HEATHEN SIGN TO SEASON OF MIST RECORDS!!!
Season of Mist is proud to announce that one of the finest thrash legends from San Francisco's Bay Area, namely HEATHEN, freshly inked a deal with our label.
Some must recall that Heathen is one of the most unique bands to rise from the Bay Area thrash explosion of the 80's/90's, whose 1987 groundbreaking debut album "Breaking The Silence" went on to sell close to 100,000 copies worldwide.
Reborn five years ago, the band is now looking to rise up once more and reclaim the throne of thrash metal, and Season of Mist will be on their side!
More info at www.season-of-mist.com
As far as I know we were in talks with them but didn't sign anything yet.

I could never really get into Danzig. But as of today, I have gotten into DRI. I was worried that I wasn't going to like them, because I thought they were punk... but I listened to some tracks off of Thrash Zone and I thought they were really good.
