Hurray for remastered Tankard albums. Getting my hands on them for nice and cheap now.

I saw the funniest thing at JB Hi-Fi today. There was a compilation that classed the songs on the album as Burglar Metal. There was another hilarious genre classification, but I've totally forgot it now.

Well according to the Get Thrashed MySpace page, the film will be entered into as many film festivals as they can at the beginning of next year. Now I've waited this long, and if it comes near me, I'll most likely pay to go see it because I think that the documentary trailer was pretty good itself.

I'm still in Melbourne, yeah. No I'm not going to Motley Crue/Motorhead next week, cause I ain't paying $1,000,000 for a ticket. Rumour has it that Motorhead ain't gonna turn up anyway. Not too much dude. Beer and Heavy Metal about sums it up (unfortunately, not many girls though :() and working to fund said interests. Trying to save up some cash so i can go over to Europe in their summer to goto all the Festivals and whatnot. I quit Uni because i was failing, and it seemed like paying for F's wasnt going to further my formal schooling.

Yeah, Dismember and Anthrax were both awesome, and to a slightly lesser extent, Megadeth. I got to go back stage at Dismember, so that was a bonus. Im heading to Motley Crue, though. $130 a ticket... for B reserve! It's a butt load, but i hope it's worth it. (It won't be if motorhead pull out, obviously). I heard that there were rumors that Priest are coming out sometime next year and that blind guardian are definitely coming out in november. Should be good if both of those come through.

How about yourself dude?

Sounds about right. Beer and Metal is the way of life and of course it's always handy when you have a girl or two. Going to the festivals in europe is also on my agenda, but not for a while though. I'm suprised you quit uni though. I'm taking a course in Digital Video and Television Production in March, so we shall see what happens there. Expensive as hell though 10 g's for a 2 semester course.

Priest and Blind Guardian would be amazing to see over here, although I'm not the greatest fan of the latter, but you get what you're given here.

The Motley tickets are amazingly high priced. Plus you basically know 99% of their setlist before they come on stage, you won't get any suprises. Good to see you're still alive and well though.

Ey Apocalyptic Raids, how you doin?

Went to Motorhead and Motly Crue on Saturday night. Motorhead were freakin Heavy live and Lemmy may as well have been 30 years old again. Their new songs went off too, all of their songs were soo much better live. Crue were awesome too; AWESOME live show. There was soo much energy despite it being a seated show. Yeah, well worth the 130$.

Razor!? Damn you dude. I've been spinning Violent Restitution a lot lately. It's one intense cd. I'm also on a huge James Rivera fix- He's probably my favourite vocalist, besides Halford, of course.

What was the Motorhead setlist like? I'm guessing it had all of the classics.

Speaking of Motorhead I recently got On Parole, which I deemed total crap after listening to it the first time, aside from the title track and Motorhead, but it seems to be growing on me a whole lot more now. Worth the $5 at least :p

Are you heading to Dungeon's last gig this Sunday at the Gaelic Club? Should be a decent show, although im not sure who else is playing. Also Pegazus is touring so that should be another gig to check out. (Sorry, i dont know anything else about that one.)

The first time I listened, it didn't seem all that good to me. Now, however, despite the screwy vocals at times, I am liking it. There are some really cool riffs and some good songwriting.

It's true. I heard it last night and it was really good, despite the buzzing.

Except, what can you expect from a boombox? <- Bret told me that one XD

It made me feel like a sucky songwriter, but then again, I think I have a ****ing cold...goddamn So. Califorinia weather change.

First it was dry and too warm, now it's like, cold again... Why can't it just make up it's mind.

Personally, I prefer cold weather.

Yeah, I think I've completely cleaned them out, I would just order from amazon but someone gave me a gift certificate. But I have all thats needed from Dark Angel, Exodus, Destruction, Dark Angel, Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Overkill, Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Destroyer 666, Exhorder, Coroner, Annihilator, Watchtower, Morbid Saint, Sacrifice, Heathen, Early Iced Earth, Forbidden, Exumer, Hypnosia, Sauron, Dekapitator, Early Atheist, Vio-lence, Testament, Tankard, Sodom, Razor, Sabbat, Megadeth, Metal Church(sort of), Municipal Waste and D.R.I. So anything thrash(preferably death/thrash like Hypnosia) would be nice.

This is a dilemma. I really, really want to see Exodus, but I don't want to pay what will most likely be at least $40 to see Exodus play a handful of songs, not to mention the unbelieveable amount of goth kiddies that infest Australian shows. They were even fagging it up at Nile for **** sake.

I once dated a goth. She liked Dream Theater. wtf?

Personally I don't see too many goth kiddies here. I used to hang out with the wannabe goths.

They dressed stereotypically. All black, gothic wardrobe, the makeup, and stuff.

I was like...ok. They were still really nice to me.

However, about this issue of the goth kids invading the shows, I don't get it. I think they find some "escape" to get away from...everyone hating them.

Goth kids at a DT, Nile and Dungeon concert? That's just weird...

Nile isn't even close to goth. I guess they all want to hop aboard the "Goth Kiddies Who Want To Be Cool So Listen to 'Metal' and Don't Complain" bandwagon.

Sheesh. People are so strange now.

Yeah that's my only thing I have against DT. It's not really a show. They might as well put cardboard cutouts of every one of them and play their greatest hits through a CD player. And yeah LaBrie always disappears when they're going into the usual crazy solo stuff.
