Exodus kicked sooooo much ***! Dukes is amazing live. I met Gary and he signed my jean jacket and he gave me a pick. I also got one of Paul's drumsticks! They plyed about half of the songs on SHKM, about 3 on TOTD, about 4 off BBB (including my favorite Strike of the Beast) :D, and The Fabulous Disaster. We kept yelling "Toxic Waltz", but Gary was like "**** that song, there is no way I'm playing that ****." It was pretty funny. It was strange because while the other shitty bands were playing Gary was just sitting there on the side by himself and nobody knew who he was except for me and my four friends. So, he just signed all our **** and gave us beer. We were like "NO WAY!"

yep. Still good but I don't get why Nuclear Assault always recorded so many songs so short...it totally just...well there's a ton of room for their great riffs but it's always seem so short.

Maybe it's the feeling of the hybrid of punk and thrash... :D

I've been looking for one also, because I learn the bass lines from the guitar tabs. The only tabs I've seen for stuff off Release From Agony, was the title track and Survive to Die. I've been looking for some for a long time, but that's all I've come up with. If you find anything be sure to let me know

Yeah, RFA is my all time favorite album.....that's why I decided to upload it!

It's too bad that the majority of the songs on RFA and all of the songs on Cracked Brain will never be played live again

Because on RFA and Cracked Brain they had Harry as a second lead guitarist. He had classical solos and I'm sure Mike dosen't want to play Harry's solos and stuff. Also Cracked Brain was the first album without Schmier, so I doubt they'll ever want to play it. I would love to hear some of the songs off of Cracked Brain sang by Schmier

Duck Dogers is a kids cartoon with Daffy Duck and Porky Pig from the Looney Toons in it. That probably dosen't make much sense if you're not American, but these are very popular cartoon characters. I'm not sure if they are only American or not. Anyway, if anyone wants to see the episode here it is

TSO are an actual orchestra, just with electric guitar players and some other modern day instruments. They're pretty metal-ish, and I think Alex Skolnick is playing with them right now. :D

Vic's AIM name is VBonham01. I contacted him about demos a year ago, and he still hasn't sent me any. I'll see if he's on again today and ask him.

Awesome. Al Pitrelli was pretty good in Megadeth, even though he was on a crap album.

Its been a while since I've been in here. I just went on a Vader buying spree. Got Revelations, De Profundis and Future of the Past and the beast. I love Vader. The band and I have a gig tommorow in which we are covering For Those Who died. I can't freaking wait.

Good luck with the cover. It should rock the house. I also have been on a buying spree...the last two albums I got were Nile and Death albums, Leprosy and In Their Darkened Shrines.

Unas Slayer of the Gods is a ****ing awesome song. So is The Blessed Dead. Death is a powerhouse from start to finish on Leprosy...glad I bought it.

Sad thing is now I'm conserving :upset:

Yeah. The production kinda sucked too. Usually I love Steve DiGiorgio's bass sound, but that sounded pretty average all round.

Exactly. I did give the new Annihilator a second try, and yeah, it has some pretty good overall groove to it but Like Father Like Gun is definitely something you'd hear off of Tempo of the Damned's slower moments.

To me, the album reminded me of Tempo and Arch Enemy's Doomsday Machine, but less melody...>.>

The new Sadus was good to me. Although, like everyone, they always have room for improvement because nothing will ever be perfect :upset:

NP: Fates Warning - Ivory Gates of Dreams

Okay, the Fates Warning album No Exit is definatley thrash with progressive and power metal structures. There is precisley one groovy thrash riff (and yes it's real thrash) in this whole album and it is at 17:04 of "Ivory Gates of Dreams" (it's a 21 minute long song). I must declare ultimate headbangage

This album definatley is number 2 on my list, second only to RFA

I started working on my Thrash song for the competition tonight, and so far I have three riffs of angelslaying, christ raping, blasphemic thrash attack.

I need about 3-5 more riffs and then a structure and recording shall commence.

Has anyone seen the New Testament Live in London DVD? It's really awesome, except that the editing is so ****! I can't believe how they focus on stupid crap during Alex and Eric's Amazing solo's! ****, on Into the Pit, they zoom in on Chuck Billy playing "guitar" on his Mike stand! It's ****ing irritating! They do it throughout the whole thing! Even on the solo of Electric Crown - One of my Favorite Solo's ever! - They focus on all sorts of random ****, instead of focusing in Scholnick! AAARRRGGGGHHH! And they Do it on the Dream Theater Metropolis DvD too!
