Uhh... Why?

I was poor with the planning at dinner and since i felt more comfortable around my other friends, I didn't want her to go because at Disneyland, she was starting to drive me up the wall at times.

I just wanted a peaceful dinner with my friends who I really feel comfortable with. I don't hate her guts or anything but I just didn't feel right with her being around my other friends. It didn't seem to click in my mind.

Gah. We humans are such complicated species

I just need some good ol' thrash along the way to the restaurant to cure it all. I'll be better after a few hours...probably because I haven't eaten.

Corporal Compendia

Which was it? Behind the Mourner's Veil EP and Supernatural Addiction? The EP rocks. Great originals and awesome covers! Supernatural Addiction is good too.

You weren't wrong with your assumption though... Deceased used to be quite the pounding death metal band back in their beginnings.

Terrorzone
08-13-2005, 08:48 PM
Yeah, thats the one. These albums are quite melodic. And King Fowlys the drummer. Watch out Ventor... Anywhoo, I have 2 questions. Is Jesus Killing Machine By Voodoocult worth buying. Who's album is the Morning After by?

Corporal Compendia
08-13-2005, 09:10 PM
King Fowley isn't the drummer anymore. He's just the singer now. Sadly, he caught...something, and he had to have an operation to have a lung removed. So he doesn't have the capacity to do both drumming and singing at the same time anymore. So they picked up a new drummer.

I guess I should give a little review of it all. Death - Live.....I don't need to say anymore, it rules. Spriral Architect - Overly progressive and has no catchyness at all, but it makes for an intresting listen, because it's more technical than life itself. Demons and Wizard - It's alright, but the first was better. King Crimson - is....well it's alright, I was somewhat expecting something a bit different, it is from 1969 though. It's kinda hard to get into.

Spiral Architect is far too much wankery for my liking, except when I'm in the mood for that kind of thing.

The bass arrangements and such are amazing though, there is no denying the extreme technicality of that album.

I know the feeling. Somehow, some way, it might just grow on you. Maybe not.

It depends how you accept the music. Treat it like a time capsule. That's what I did with my Destroyer 666 CD.

Chuck's voice on Live in LA isn't that great, in my opinion. They do play some of their better songs though.

Yeah, I noticed that his vocals kind of faded away from the Death element album after album. Symbolic I almost can't listen to cause his vocals pretty much suck in my opinion, but cause of the amazing musicianship it makes up for the bad vox.

Oh yeah, I bought Join The Army by Suicidal Tendancies today for a bargain $10AUS...it's alright, not really a great album. I like Rocky George though, he's a great Guitarist. It's not as good as Lights...Camera...Revolution. Miles off infact.

Yeah the vocals aren't great on Live In LA, although the main problem I have is the drums are too loud and the guitars are to quiet, and lack crunch.

Ripping Corpse = one hell of a death metal band, HIGHLY recommended to fans of old-school death and brutal thrash. I base my name off of them too, not just the Kreator song. :p

Dekapitator = Fun, fast thrash band. Grab We Will Destroy...You Will Obey if you can find it (I reviewed this album on Sputnik and M-A). They've got a new album in the works.

It says in the booklet of Seven Churches as well.

here is what they do now:
Jeff Becerra was shot in a robbery, and paralyzed from the chest down.
Mike Torrao works as a landscaper and has some musical projects happening too.

I was bound and gagged in the dining room
Surrounded by the funk of fetid breath
The quartet of maniacs hunched over me
And forced me to listen to Anthrax and Megadeth

I struggled in my restraints as they chortled with glee
While they poked at me and sliced apart my cheek
My muffled pleading only served to amuse them
As they expelled a very noxious sort of reek

I wriggled out of my ropes a bit
There was a struggle but I managed to prevail
Ghoul is still out there, haunting the graveyard
But I escaped and now I'm here to tell my tale

Ghoul Hunter!
You can bet your life that you're going to die!
Ghoul Hunter!
We'll eat you baked, boiled, or fried!
Ghoul Hunter!
You'll look just like the jerk you are!
Ghoul Hunter!
We'll pickle your brain in a jelly jar!

What's "premium bonds"?

you can buy numbers and once a month numbers are drawn out like in the lottery. If one of your numbers is picked you win between 50-250000 pounds i think.

Quick question to all you thrash goons, i've been listening to a few overkill songs these days, not sure which albums there from though, i've already got horrorscope, but don't know where to go from there! Any recommendations?? Also anyone know much about the badn "Canivore"?, again i've heard some stuff which sounds decent, know nothing about them though!

Ok, thanks for the help! Also, sorry to be pain, but another question, I mentioned a while back on here about a band "Laaz Rockit" and that I couldn't find anywhere to buy the albums, still can't, but i've managed to download it instead. Anyway one know any websites that may have the front and back covers to this band's albums?

Reilx IV isn't too good in comparising to the other newer Overkill albums. The only album it beats IMO is "From the Underground and Below". For newer Overkill, try "Necroshine" or "The Killing Kind".

Lost and Found Records, and independent website that previously specialized in offering European imports of classic metal to customers in the states (not to mention selling quasi-rare items on e-bay) have decided to start their own record company. Instead of releasing music from new bands, they're devoting their time exclusively to reissuing OOP metal classics from the 80s.

Their first release is the thrash classic A HIGH FORM OF KILLING from the "Thrashville Tennnessee" act Intruder. Such an underrated band, and a great album to boot... Support this release and they'll get around to reissuing some other rare material in the future (Toxik reissues? Maybe...).

No release date yet but it's coming out in September... just thought I'd give people here the heads up, because here's a bunch of guys who are trying to do something great for fans of classic metal out there and I want to see them be successful... that, and I want more rare albums, so get your wallets out!

I really love the speed/power mix in this album, complete with the swashbuckling /viking-esque lyrical themes. The songs progress rather well too, which is a big plus. And again, it's modern without the faggy non-metalness.
