Dan Lilker had a cool 'fro in the 80's, it looks a bit more thin now

The only Sacred Reich i have is the first album and EP, Laid To Rest and Death Sqaud are the only songs i can think of at the minute

It'll be cool to hear stuff like Hammerhead and Rotten to the Core and stuff

M-16 was a capable album, so I'll be interested to see what they come up with next. A DVD does sound good aswell. Always on the lookout for new music DVDS, when I have the spon, which I'm lacking at the moment. I still need to pick up a few DVDs, Wrecking Everything mainly.

The CD stores here suck, and carry almost all mainstream/poplular music. They have quite a bit of metal, but it's all Arch Enemy type headbangers ball music. Luckily they have some thrash at least (Megadeth, Testament, etc.).

Only CD stores near me are Tower Records, Sam Goody, and whatnot, so they don't have anything too far outside of the mainstream. Usually I go Amazon or Soulseek. There used to be a place that sold used CDs, I loved it, but they went out of business.

Heh, well that's pretty much better than I've got. None of the stores here carry any black metal (at least I haven't seen any). Which is part of the reason why I don't buy many CD's.

Rotting Corpse are suppossed to re-release all their old demos on the 24th.

It's only going be limited to the first 100 ppl, which will receive a limited edition version signed by all the bands members.

I think I might have all my info wrong but, I think I got some of right.

They will do a second mass printing again, but with different artwork and a different cover.

The last time I saw them, they had a pretty decent setlist and were actually really good. THIS TIME BETTER HAVE SOME KIMB SONGS ON THE SETLIST OR I WILL BE REALLY REALLY PISSED, AND AT LEAST ONE SONG OFF PEACE SELLS OTHER THAN THE TITLE TRACK
Well they always play Mechanix and Wake Up Dead, I would be very, very suprised if they didn't play those. To whoever said something about songs from TWNAH, ever since that album they've been player Hanger 18 and Return To Hangar in order live.

Sucks that he will never play Black Friday and The Conjuring again. Two of their best songs. :(

On the other hand 1,000 posts! In the best thread on MX.

Oh yeah. I forgot about Return To Hangar.

Black Friday is one badass song. I'm sure he said ages ago before they toured that he'd start playing it in the live setlist again, just to see if he could actually play it. Looks like that idea got abandoned. Well nevermind, I was happy enough with the setlist when I saw 'em.

They played Devil's Island on the DVD, is that a mabye?

Apocalyptic Raids

I think if it was going to be anything besides Wake Up Dead or Peace Sells, then it would be Devils Island. Although I'm not sure how much they've been playing it lately.

Well they always play Mechanix

No they don't. They play that...sometimes. Never anything else from Killing though.

I was just thinking how Dave would react if I brought a giant replica of him nailed to a cross to one of his shows.

Here guys, I threw this in the Deth thread too:
I was cruising the Gigantour site and noticed how many of the other bands fans are there. This is going to be very kewl because I believe you will meet and make new friends or get some good sparring in. I personally hope the former.

I have also confirmed another band for the Stage 2 and that announcement will come later today. I am also thinking about adding another band to each stage, which could mean moving someone from Stage 2 to Stage 1, and I also have my sight on a really kewl new school band that does old school metal (actually two), and a veteran act for Stage 2.

Stay tuned, its gonna get real busy here before we leave for Europe on Monday morning. We are going to change our set list up for this summer (we have to in some places because we have less time than when we headline) and I think you will be surprised because they are some older songs. And I can't wait to see all of you awesome Droogies and She-Wolves again real soon.

Maybe Dave could play The Conjuring and Black Friday, but with different lyrics. I'm okay with that; I liked the riffs in those songs more than the lyrics.

yeah, it wouldn't be quite the same.....mabye he would be like "okay, gang! Grab your bibles! This is White Sunday!" *insert Black Friday riffs* "It's White Sunday, paint rainbows on the wall!"

I hope they just have more from the first four albums in general. I really want to hear Loved to Deth, Skull Beneath the Skin, and/or Rattlehead.

And he just confirmed Life of Agony, and he says he's getting a "new school band that does old school metal", anyone have any idea who that is?

On another note, Punishment for Decadence is ****ing amazing! What other Coroner material should I check out?

ThrashMaster27
05-27-2005, 11:47 AM
R.I.P. and No More Color are their two next best albums. Amazing band Coroner are....

Anyway, Dave will never play anything from KIMB aside from Mechanix. I'll lick my own arsehole if he does. Mind you, he pulls out songs that you wouldn't expect on occasions! I would have never expected Megadeth to play Liar live in these recent times, but I was proved wrong.

Well, I suppose that was a rather general statement. I suppose he could pull out select tracks from KIMB on the rare occasion. Aside from Mechanix, I really can't see any other tracks getting played.

I also decided it was not worth the wait at Ozzfest for about 3-4 good bands, especially for the price. So just try and catch Maiden on their next world tour. Plus they're only playing stuff from their first 4 albums because of the "early days" dvd, which isn't bad but they have so much other good stuff.
