Just a quick thread which can be closed soon. In the reviews under Blink 182 my review of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket is missing as is my Box Car Racer review. This review was done well before the latest January 12 update and when the next update is done could someone please search for it?
Thanks
Note: I made an individiual thread as there was no official thread that I could really post this in.

Ok this isn't a reviews list problem but I thought I would put it in here, what do you think of people reviewing albums they haven't bought but infact downloaded? To me it seems sad there are people reviewing the albums without purchasing them then the people who purchase them don't get to do the first review. So I guess i'm asking if we could establish a rule saying that you must first purchase the cd to do a review?
Thanks

^^ yeahh... but how the hell can you tell if you download an album or not??

I agree with hybridofsound...sometimes the packaging of the CD is an important part, e.g. with Nile albums (or the latest two, anyway), the booklet has very in depth explanations of ideas behind tracks. Its also sometimes nice to know about cover art and whether the lyrics are included and things.
edit - also, though I'm not totally against downloading (thought I don't like the whole album thing) it just doesn't seem right for people who haven't bought something to be reviewing it.

We have to keep this forum as active as possible; and by reviewing a downloaded album it may or may not slow it down (depending on how many people do it). I personally prefer if a purchased album is reviewed, but there can be no rule to prohibit downloaded albums to be reviewed.

I think we shouldn't have to say "[CD]" for the many CD reviews that are posted here, and instead should just label the concert or DVD reviews as they sporadically appear. Those other labels are a bit too crowding, and I think most reviews without them are understood to be album reviews anyway.

Thursday is in no way "emo-punk" or "emo." Their genre is post-hardcore if anything. Anybody who has read www.fourfa.com or has listened to real emo knows this. I mean come on!. Go here (http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/1710/) and listen to the song "Crowquill," which is a real emo song and try to tell me Thursday is emo.

yea, the reviews aren't really in alphabetical order. I was going to put them in alphabetical order via copy to word and back, but it won't work that way as each review that appears as (example) train of thought is actually train of thought ... It is doable but it would take to much work and time.

Nevermind, I did that same thing that whoever was talking about, where they took out the word "heavy" and then added it back in. I took out everything in the title, then edited it back in after it posted. But still, why does it do that? That was extremely annoying and wasted about 20 minutes of my useless time. I could have been doing other random crap and not sleep. Check out the Mortificare review. It caused me a great deal of emotional and psychological pain.
And sting-ray, can I redo the AFI - The Art Of Drowning review? Because the one by iloveteddy was horrible and you closed the thread anyway. I would, and I'm sure anyone wanting to know about the cd, would appreciate a better review.

Bartender, why don't you just delete bad reviews instead of closing them?
The bad reviews just make this forum look bad.

I wanted to make sure he saw why it was being closed. Fair enough though, by now he'll have either seen it, or just left.

466. Live Through This, Hole
It pains me to say it, but apparently Hole's "Live Through This" album is on the Rolling Stone 500. It needs to be orange'd in the list.

Might not be the place for it.. but I think the review list would be better as a linked web page (internal or remote, whatever), rather than a thread. Keeping the same topic in the list of threads, but changing its link to a non-thread item can't be hard to do either.
Pros:
It makes for easier editing by the mods, and the option for using simple html frames and anchors would be pretty useful for viewers. The top 500 list could even have its own separate page.. and theres a lot more that ideas I havent even thought of yet.
Cons:
I'm only a positive thinker.. so.. n/a

This isn't a review. It's not about the list, just the forum itself.

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207982 please add it to the reviewed list.:) I think it is a very valid review and there is no reason why it should not be added to the list.
