You heard it, are Arch Enemy's Daniel Erlandsson and Cradle of Filth's Adrian Erlandsson.. brothers?! They both have a similar style, the same last name, both born in Sweden, and both look rather similar also!! I wish i could find a good picture of Daniel.. but i cannot find it anymore since Arch Enemy changed the layout of their website recently.

Something that stops me from thinking they are brothers, or at least related to each other is they do not mention each other in their profiles on their current bands homepages.

Any drummer metal heads care to answer my ever-so-unimportant query??

A better demonstration of Adrian Erlandsson's drumming is on the At The Gates albums (which if you like Arch Enemy you should like) - he seems very limited in Cradle.

I recommend you listen to the songs:

Blinded by Fear
Terminal Spirit Disease

for examples of his more groovy (in a metallic context) playing

and:

With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness

for a bit more technical stuff (again in a metallic context - he's not Weckl).

Both Daniel and Adrian have comparable styles (not surprisingly seeing as Daniel only started playing when he saw Adrian play) but you can spot differences.

If you like Daniel's drumming you should check out Eucharist - find the song Dissolving - by far his best work.
