02.28.11
god the user last.fm is painful to look at.

accompliceofmydeath
02.28.11
Fuck yeah, TGUK on the staff top 10.

Defeater
02.28.11
The top 3 are the same on both charts.

Willie
02.28.11
I haven't listened to Radiohead or Arcade Fire, so it's not me ;)

cvlts
02.28.11
not even defeater, that's a surprise

Defeater
02.28.11
and I left the group months ago, so it isn't me either

hahaha

Willie
02.28.11
--not even defeater, that's a surprise--

The way that last.fm updates, the charts are always a week behind.

Captain North
02.28.11
I may have contributed to Glassjaw and PTH...

Which happen to be the only unusual additions to the users list.

cvlts
02.28.11
might do Gideon or Agnostic Front. already have a couple reviews fully written and waiting for the release date, so kinda exhausted from writing.

Urinetrouble
02.28.11
that praxis record came out in 2008

Deviant.
02.28.11
Should hopefully be doing the new ASIIWYFA

DaveyBoy
02.28.11
Is that the 80's version of Tiffany?

Willie
02.28.11
--that praxis record came out in 2008--

In Japan. This is the first time it's actually being released in the US and it features two live bonus tracks not found on the Japanese version.

Willie
02.28.11
--Is that the 80's version of Tiffany?--

I'm pretty damn sure that it is.

Aids
02.28.11
review for the new And So I Watch You From Afar please

Mordecai.
02.28.11
the debut Art vs. Science album came out last week. wouldn't mind to see a review for that. i'm feeling DaveyBoy, Klapper or maybe even Atavan.

DaveyBoy
02.28.11
Parlez Vous Francais Monsieur Mordecai? Not quite my thang Mordy & I've got a full book of reviews for a month even if I wanted to.

Is it any good?

Captain North
02.28.11
the song Bumblebee is really fucking annoying and I can just see it becoming their next single.

Mordecai.
02.28.11
meh it is alright. hasn't really sunk in yet. all those kind of electro-indie bands in aus release killer ep's then seem to always fuck up their debut albums

FelixCulpa
02.28.11
I doubt the ASIWYFA album comes out this week considering what Richter collective has posted here, http://www.richtercollective.com/?p=975 Think someone mixed up March with May.

HenchmanOfSanta
02.28.11
Yeah the ASIWYFA isn't for another two months. But I might review the new Scale the Summit and will probably get that Grayceon album.

Willie
02.28.11
Yeah, I got that date from a news article. I'm positive that it initially said March, but now it says May.

WatchItExplode
02.28.11
Review for the new Grayceon album please ..?

GnarlyShillelagh
02.28.11
Oh shit gotta request that Grayceon album to be reviewed!

AliW1993
02.28.11
Anna Calvi's record is well worth a listen.

Deviant.
02.28.11
No ASIWYFA then? Sweet, cruisy week

DaveyBoy
02.28.11
Ali, I might give that Anna Calvi album a listen. I hadn't actually realized that it was getting a U.S release. Unsure if I have time for a review though, as March is stacked to the max.

AliW1993
02.28.11
Yeah I can definitely see you enjoying it. I rated it 3.5 but I can see that going up once I've actually got it.

Scale The Summit wins this week

telebyrd
03.01.11
Will Someone Please Review Nicholas Jaar?

Lambda
03.01.11
A Praxis review would be cool, it has Buckethead, Mike Patton, Serj Tankian, etc. on it. I'll probably be getting it at any rate, now that it's available here in North America.

HenchmanOfSanta
03.02.11
When is the user best of 2010 coming out?

bloc
03.02.11
Soon, in a few weeks.

Ire
03.03.11
friday is my birthday so you should all post birthday reviews yah

Sowing
03.03.11
probably in 2-3 weeks

Defeater
03.03.11
yeah the voting just ended two days ago don't get your panties in a bunch

Willie
03.03.11
Their deadline is March 14th. After that they're relinquishing control. We're not waiting forever again ;)

Crysis
03.03.11
We're doing real good this time Willie, promise!

Sowing
03.03.11
That's how you upper staff folk work, just keep cracking the whip while us lowly contributors slave away to meet the deadline ;)

Willie
03.03.11
The general staff consensus at worst was that you guys took too long with the decade list and that it was too far into 2011 for a 2010 list so too bad so sad... at best was apathy. So, the only reason it's happening at all is because I went ahead anyway. I guess my point is that I'm still waiting for my cookie.

Knott-
03.03.11
As far as I knew we literally never had a deadline for the decade list. I agree it took ages too long. There were a couple of CONTRIBUTing factors.

Willie
03.03.11
I admit that you never had a deadline, but looked how that worked out. Dave has to push deadlines on us for the same reason, so no harm no foul.

DaveyBoy
03.03.11
Speaking of Dave & deadlines, where's that D.R.U.G.S review of his?

Whattaya mean he is out celebrating Ireland being better at cricket than England!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Knott-
03.03.11
Yah, I agree, obviously!

Knott-
03.03.11
Also fuck you, Davey.

Spare
03.03.11
some staffer do the new rural alberta advantage would ye

DaveyBoy
03.03.11
You're welcome Knott. Someone had to bring it up.

TMobotron
03.03.11

"Their deadline is March 14th. After that they're relinquishing control. We're not waiting forever again ;)"

All I'm going to say is somewhere in one of the threads for the staff 2010 there is a comment where I said "you give the user 2010 to me and I'll get it back to you in 2 weeks"
