Calabasas, California rockers Incubus have been performing a new track, entitled ‘Surface To Air,’ on recent tour dates in South America.

This splendidly clear video footage was shot at the Santiago stop (that’s in Chile, for the benefit of all of you living in that space between Mexico and Canada) on October 8.

The band are currently working on their seventh album, their first since 2006’s Light Grenades, which is planned for release some time next year.

Thanks to user DoubtGin for the tip.

They are, but that song was pretty meh.

They should just break up, honestly. Maybe this next album will prove me wrong, but they have all been off doing their own thing the past 4 years, and this song is lame.

song is actually pretty good imo

I thought Brandon was doing a solo album.

'I thought Brandon was doing a solo album.'

He already has. Light Grenades is easily their weakest album, they'd do well to improve on it.

Light grenades probably is their weakest, but it still kicks ass.

Light gernades did not kick ass... it was ok a few decent songs,,, but there were 4 total sell-out songs that just ruined it for me this is a step back in the right direction

they had Monuments And Melodies, a greatest hits thing with a second disc with unreleased b-sides and such

They are still great live even if they've been going a little downhill on record.

Light Grenades was '06? I reviewed that when it came out, and I was staff. /toooldforthisshit

Good band, but it's time for them to quit IMO. Not that their newer material is bad, but it's not as good and its the same shit theyve been doing for years.

Uhh... they've changed massively between every single album they've released. It's kinda pointless to compare styles between them. Light Grenades did have some weaker tracks, but it had some utterly brilliant ones too, and I have no doubt that they'll keep making amazing music.

Also, Monuments and Melodies had a couple of new songs on it too, that were good. Black Heart Inertia was great if I remember correctly.

Tune is meh. I wish Dirk Lance was still in the band; at least there'd be some sweet basslines. Ben Kenney is capable but boring.

Brandon Boyd still rips it though.

yea, Dirk Lance is the shit

Time to give it away boys. They haven't done anything worth listening to since Morning View.

i wouldnt say theyve changed massively since the change from science-make yourself. Since make yourself theyve just been making alt rock. It was good but its going downhill, and when i listen to their new stuff i cant help but think id just rather be listening to their science-mv days.

Dear Dave,

Your snide comment at American's lack of geographical knowledge isn't appreciated and I wish you well when the ice caps melt and Ireland submerges into its miserable potato grave.

With love,
Ryan
