William James Adams, Jr., better known by his stage name "will.i.am" is an American rapper, musician, songwriter, singer, actor and producer. He is best known for his work in the Black Eyed Peas as their principal frontman alongside singer Fergie, and for popularising the usage of Auto-Tune and other vocoder-like effects as a distinctive compositional tool.
