Part of Christian supergroup dc Talk, Toby McKeehan (known professionally as tobyMac) has been a major influence in Christian music for the past fifteen years, first with dc Talk, then in his solo career, and also as founder of Gotee Records.
After dc Talk (McKeehan, Michael Tait, Kevin Max) went on hiatus in 2000, each member worked putting out his own solo record. Welcome to Diverse City, McKeehan's second solo record, appeared in October of 2004 and it, too, incorporated a wide range of genres, this time including reggae and pop-punk. McKeehan's third record, Portable Sounds, will release in February 2007. « hide |
