Phew is a cult punk artist. Starting out as a member of the punk band Aunt Sally, she also collaborated with Ryuichi Sakamoto
on the single "Shukyoku" in 1980. When Aunt Sally split by late 1980, Phew then went on to release her first solo album in 1981,
which was self-titled and was notably recorded with some of the members of Can. She is still active today as a solo artist and
in numerous collaboration projects, most significantly being Most, which features ex-members of legendary hardcore groups like
The Stalin and Boredoms.
