The main idea from th. beginning was to play rough metal with melodies. DJ Locomotive (drums. and Eve (synths) joined the band quite soon and myGRAIN’s lineup wa. almost finished. A few weeks after the recordings of The Red Frame, Spinefarm Record. contacted myGRAIN and they inked a deal. The first fruit of thei. collaboration was the debut album Orbit Dance, released in April 2006. The debut album consisted of eleven songs of modern metal – wit. influences of both Nordic melodic death metal and the American style. As myGRAIN is considered to be on its best on live performances, the. focused on touring in Finland as much as possible after the release o. Orbit Dance. They still managed to write songs in between the gigs s. in February 2008 their second album Signs of Existence is ready to b. released.
