Zeppet Store are a Japanese alternative rock band that formed in 1989. After releasing their first full length album, "Swing, Slide, Sandpit", in 1994, the band developed a close relationship with Japanese rock icon hide, and the icon ended up signing Zeppet Store to his label Lemoned in 1996. On the band's next album, hide worked quite extensively with them, and as a result, the popularity of Zeppet Store began to increase, until it reached its peak when their 1999 album "Clutch" reached number 8 on the Japanese Oricon charts. However, sales began to plummet instantly after the album's release, and Zeppet Store ended up eventually disbanding in 2005. In 2011, however, Zeppet Store reunited, and the band have been active ever since.
