Indie veterans Yo La Tengo have been around for over 20 years and still go strong today. Though they continue to progress their sound,
incorporating everything from folk to electronic music, and garner critical praise, they have received limited mainstream attention. Formed in
1984 by the married couple Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley, they went through several bandmate changes before bassist James McNew
solidified the trio in 1992 and has ever since.
