Wolfchant is a five piece Epic Pagan Metal band from Bavaria. Wolfchant was formed in 2003 by vocalist Lohki, drummer Norgahd, guitarists Skaahl and Derrmorh and bassist Gaahnt, who later be replaced by Bahznar. In 2004 Wolfchant released two demos, the first being The Fangs of Southern Death, the second being the Herjan Trilogy. Shortly after, Wolfchant was signed to CCP records and released their first official studio album Bloody Tales of Disgraced Lands. Wolfchant is best known for its unique sound and for use of a wide variety of musical instruments including the mouth harp, the flute, and the accordion. Wolfchant's lyrics focus on Pagan history as well as Nordic Folktales. As expected, wolves are a common theme in their music. « hide |
