Wilmer X
Wilmer X is a Swedish rock band. Originally formed in 1977-1978 as Wilmer Pitt in Malmö, Sweden. The band was rebranded as Wilmer X at the time of the first recording. There's different versions on how they got the name Wilmer Pitt (pitt is another word for penis in swedish), it's uncertain which one is the truth. Nisse Hellberg has stated that the name Wilmer Pitt was a corruption of William Pitt. The band formed on the fall in 1977 and debuted live in their school Pildammsskolan on april 7 1978. The self-titled debut album was released in 1981.
