Watchtower were one of the most innovative bands of the modern progressive metal movement influencing countless other bands such as Cynic, Death, Spiral Architecht, Dream Theater and more. The vocals were higher pitched then anything you could imagine and the music was far beyond (i.e. complex) what any group of five people should have been able to pull off.
