Walking Concert is an indie rock band from New York, featuring Walter Schreifels on vocals and guitar; Jeffery E. Johnson on guitar; Ryan Stratton on bass guitar; and Drew Thomas on drums. The band formed in 2003 after the dissolution of Schreifels' previous band, Rival Schools. Stepping away from his hardcore/post-hardcore heritage, Schreifels' went for a more mellow pop sound with Walking Concert - reminiscent of such indie mainstays as The Flaming Lips.
