World Wrestling Entertainment, or the WWE, is a wrestling company that has been around since 1982. Considered to be the most dominant and iconic wrestling company of all time, the WWE has released dozens of records, compiling both wrestler themes and new material from that era’s popular artists. Largely unsuccessful for its first few releases, steam picked up immensely by 1998, around the time the company was at its peak in popularity. WWE would go on to acquire three platinum records and three gold records in the US, the only wrestling company in the world to do so.
