Violent J (Joseph Bruce) is the main lyricist and rapper of Insane Clown Posse, but has also been involved with a number of underground rap groups over the years, including Dark Lotus, Psychopathic Rydas and Soopa Villainz. His first solo EP on Psychopathic, Wizard of the Hood was released in 2003, followed by his debut solo LP, The Shining in 2009.
