Van Morrison draws inspiarations from a vareity of genres and musicians but creates a style that is purely his own. His career took off with the Garage Blues band THEM, having a multiple successes with songs like Gloria and Here Comes The Night. Van found instant solo success with the adorable pop song Brown Eyed Girl. However his solo career was defined by two masterpieces Astral Weeks and Moondance. Van combines elements of folk, soul, r'n'b and blues into something magnificent and unique to listen to.
