Unified Theory were formed when Blind melon disbanded in 1999 following a failed attempt to replace lead singer Shannon Hoon, who had died
as a result of a drugs overdose in 1995. They conisted of former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen, Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn from
Blind Melon and newcomer Chris Shinn. They released one full length album which as also called Unified Theory. During work on the second

2006 was also largely ignored by the public and received little promotion as Blind Melon had recently reformed and the other members of
