The Murderers was a short lived rap supergroup. First formed in 1999, it was created primarily to showcase the roster of the then-popular rap label
Murder Inc., which was mainly led at the time by the massive success of Ja Rule, and he essentially acted as the head for The Murderers as well. The
Murderers released only a few singles and one album, 2000's "Irv Gotti Presents... The Murderers", before disintegrating in 2001.
