The Hives are a rock band originating from Fagersta, Sweden and have been compared to punk bands such as The Ramones. The
charismatic five piece consist of Howlin' Pelle Almqvist (vocals), Nicholas Arson (guitar), Vigilante Carlstroem (guitar), Dr. Matt
Destruction (bass) and Chris Dangerous (drums). The band are famed for their showmanship, Perfectly timed playing, shout along
vocals and of course their matching stage attires.
They surfaced in the UK and USA in the year 2000 with their second album "Veni Vidi Vicious" (their first album 1997s "Barely legal"

UK charts and no. 33 in the US and was released in 2004 with their current signing to Universal Music, with a contract reportedly
worth $12 million. "The worlds best live band" have just released their fourth studio album "The Black and White Album".
