The Glove

To sum it up nicely, The Glove is a musical collaboration between Robert Smith (The Cure) and Steven Severin (Siouxsie & the Banshees). Smith had briefly joined the Banshees after their guitar player abruptly quit. While on a semi-hiatus, The Glove project came into fruition. Smith provides vocals for two tracks while Landry sings the rest. The album is a tour de force of colors and ideas that might not have fit that well within The Cure and the Banshees, respectively. Nonetheless, this album stands as a curious little journey from brilliant minds, and a sexy female vocalist to boot. Essential for Cure and Siouxsie fans, and even great for the casual fan. « hide
