The Almost is the side-project of Underoath's drummer Aaron Gillespie's. Debut album Southern Weather was made all by Gillespie and released in April of 2007. Following the release of 2 EPs, the 2nd full-length Monster Monster was released in November of 2009. This time, Gillespie was backed by a band; Jay Vilardi, Dusty Redmon & Alex Aponte.
