Thanasis Papakonstantinou is a Greek composer,singer and songwriter,born in Larisa at 26th April 1959.In his music
combineselements of rock,folk(Laiko) and traditional greek music.He is considered one of the greatest representatives of the
genre inGreece and one of the most important resuscitators creating his own music style. Philip Glass, Tom Waits, Leonard
Cohen,ManuChao,Fairuz,Shankar,Rosa Balisteri among others included in his musical influences. His lyrical themes derived from
the bucolic and rural life with dionysian indulgements to social themes .Fernado Pessoa ,Andrew Empeirikos and Lorka are some
of his influences.
