Swordmaster was a Swedish metal band which was formed in 1993. At first they started playing melodic black metal, but converted over to a thrashy death metal band soon after. In the year 2000, with a new record deal from LED recordings, the band members decided to change their sound/image entirely, and the now-famous Swedish industrial/glam metal band Deathstars was born. That meant the end for Swordmaster.
