Stillsuit was a post-hardcore band from Queens, NY.
They combined the aggressive sonics of the New York Hardcore scene with first-wave emo elements, heartfelt lyrics and progressive
instrumental passages that definitely helped them to stand out from the pack. In the transitional days of 1990’s hardcore, they were a bright
spot. Their music picked up the theoretical thread laid down by Quicksand and ran with it.
