Sorrowseed is a melodic extreme metal band from New England, USA with gothic, doom, black, and death metal elements. Created by Joshua Carrig
and Thomas Cyranowski in 2008, the band's influences include Opeth, Amorphis, Theatre of Tragedy, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth,
GWAR, Emperor, Type O Negative, and Suffocation.
In 2009, Sorrowseed released their first EP, entitled "Portents". In 2010 , the full band lineup was completed and Sorrowseed began to take New
