Sons of the Radio is an unsigned rock band from the Baltimore, Maryland area, formed in January 2009. Their music is characterized by clear melodic
vocals by Matt Gomez, energetic guitar riffage with tasteful leads and solos laid down by Mike Sullivan, and a strong rhythm section featuring Tom
Kravulski on bass and Jimmy Herberson on drums. Their debut record, Heartstrings & Heresies (2010), a 31-minute, seven track rock album with
strong musicianship and memorable songs, has received regular rotation on major radio stations in the Baltimore/DC broadcast areas. SotR has
opened for a diverse array of touring artists, from The Misfits to LA Guns to Plain White T's, but has not yet toured. They are currently writing songs
for a sophomore album planned for release in early 2013.
