Sloan is a Canadian rock band that formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1991. The band consists of four members, each who play a more than one instrument. All four members write their own songs, and when they play live they switch instruments with different concerts and from album to album as well. They have released a handful of studio albums, an EP (Peppermint), a live album (4 Nights at the Palais Royale) and a greatest hits compilation (A Sides Win: Singles 1992-2005). Their 8th and latest studio album, Never Hear the End of It", was released on January 9th, 2007. It will be the first studio album with all new material since 2003's "Action Pact" and also their first double album.
