Formed in the Midwest in 1999, by their own admission ''just to have some fun'', Since By Man released their first album 'We Sing The Body Electric' in 2003. the band have gone even further down the road of playing skewed musical gymnastics on their second album that stretches both the abilities of the band themselves and the listener to their very limits. The name, incidentally, was inspired by the line ''Since by man came death'' from Handel's 'Messiah' which is probably fairly unique as far post-screamo bands go.
