Seikima-II

Seikima-II are an influential metal band from Japan. Formed in 1982, Seikima-II bases much of their lyrics on an imaginary occultism created by the band, with their music being good old fashioned heavy metal. The group had tremendous success in the mainstream circuit throughout the 1980's and mid-1990's, with most of their albums during that duration breaking the Oricon top 10 charts. The group originally disbanded in 1999, but reformed in 2005. To date, Seikima-II are one of the most commercially successful and well known heavy metal bands in Japanese music history.
