Seikima-II are an influential metal band from Japan. Formed in 1982, Seikima-II bases much of their lyrics on an
imaginaryoccultism created by the band, with their music being good old fashioned heavy metal. The group had tremendous
success inthe mainstream circuit throughout the 1980's and early-mid 1990's, with most of their albums during that duration
breaking theOricon top 10 charts. The group originally disbanded in 1999, but are known to have temporary revivals since 2005.
To date,Seikima-II are one of the most commercially successful and well known heavy metal bands in Japanese music history.
