Seagram

Seagram was a rapper from Oakland, California. He first debuted with 1992's "The Dark Roads", and released a few more singles and one more album, 1995's "Reality Check", before tragically being murdered by a drive-by shooting in July of 1996, at the young age of 26. He was reportedly shielding his longtime friend and collaborator Gangsta P, who was also seriously injured, and retired from the rap scene afterwards. One more album was released under Seagram's name, 1997's "Souls on Ice", which received overwhelming positive reviews for its more mature nature and its harsh descriptions of the ghettos which he was familiar with.
