Sara Beth Bareilles was born on December 7th 1979 in Eureka, California. She attended college at UCLA, where she recorded two demo tapes
of her live shows in 2003. She recorded her first studio album, Careful Confessions, in 2004, and was signed to Elektra Records in 2005.
Bareilles reached mainstream recognition and two Grammy nominations for her hit single, Love Song, after it was featured as the iTunes
"Free Single of the Week" as part of a marketing campaign. Bareilles' latest album, Kaleidoscope Heart, was released in 2010.
