The four-piece was founded in early 2004 by key figures in the Norwegian metal scene, hailing from bands like Gorgoroth,
Manngard and Audrey Horne (winners of Norwegian grammy for best metal album 2005). Sahg quickly established itself as the
talk of the town, and within months after their formation, Swedish Regain Records ran off with their signature.
Sahg's debut album, Sahg I, was released in April 2006, consisting of ten songs of classic heavy rock with a groove that would

album has received outstanding reviews in the international metal press.
Supporting the album release, Sahg made a string of live appearances, mainly in Norway. The band appeared at Oslo's Inferno
Festival and Bylarm in Tromsö, and was fronted as the one to watch at the prestigious Hole in the Sky Festival in Bergen, Aug
2006.
In September Sahg headed out on a 3 weeks tour of North-America, supporting Swiss metal legends Celtic Frost, upon which
the band returned to Norway to start working on their second album release. Album no. 2 is scheduled for release on Regain
Records in 2007.
