Sacred Oath formed in the early 80s in Bethel, Connecticut. Their first release, "A Crystal Vision"becamse a popular underground hit in the late 80s. The band broke up after, and later rejoined,and rerecorded the album in 1998, entitling it "A Crystal Revision." Recently, they recorded theirnewest release, "Darkness Visible" which was made available in !pril, 2007. They play powermetal, though aren't quite as upbeat and feature a bit of a darker tone.
